The second hunt I am talking about involves nice stores and talented designers, most of them specialized in fantasy creations. The organizers of the Look what the cat brought hunt are experienced roleplayers and their refined taste is recognizable in the choice of the stores invited.
If you have a fantasy character or you just fancy that magical environment don't miss it (it will end soon). Is mostly for women but some prizes are for guys as well.

If you don't know Fallen Gods Inc. is time to visit Alia Baroque's sim now. She's an artist RL and that fact is easy to figure out once you land there. Her creativity has no limits and when I visited her store months ago I couldn't help but buy the elf skin I am showing along with the hunt prize.

Stargate Sick Army

Tonight the brave Shane Naimarc assembled the troops at The Stone Ring to beat a 200 hit points MM. Was kinda late but after a sudden and well-organized assault the MM surrendered and gave us a prize: a Stargate Uniform!

So, with my uniform on, I've felt the urge to find a new weapon *beams*.
In one of my favourite sim there is an hunt going on, the final prize is the huge thing I'm showing (when folded it turns in a backpack).
The hunt involves all three S.I.C49 sims and it's little tricky.
At the landing point click the hunt sign and wear the hud it will give you. Don't forget to get the NC with the instructions (there is one in english, no worries). You have to collect 10 data-boxes before claim your prize at the S.I.C computer.
The place is incredible, great atmosphere and textures, and if you are a Japan obsessed like me you'll enjoy every second spent there!

The Pluses of Being a Ping Pong Ball

Like most people, I have my freebie spots to check periodically... but I also get a certain amount of amusement just randomly TP-ing about to see what's out there...sometimes you get really lucky and sometimes all you get is a t-shirt, but you'll inevitably see something interesting along the way.

So, this morning I took a little stroll through Hell's End (mostly because I like the kilts at emo*tions and you can never have enough kilts) and tripped over some shops and things I hadn't seen before. Hell's End is mostly Grunge/Neko/Metal with a healthy dose of Gor tossed in -- all mixed up in a Cuisinart and spilled across an urban apocalypse build.

Mystic Hope is at the edge of the sim, and I almost missed this very cool outfit called Sir Lavendel. It comes with a nice cloak and a pair of fun violet cat eyes. (Zoe Cross not included with this outfit. You can get it from Sable Rose)

I rounded off my morning with some familiar places, including KOSH for the weekly freebie -- This week is the "Brittle Set".

And since I was already on X I darted over to the sim called "Men" to see what was new and came across the HSCC bike Shop...no free choppers but this collared t-shirt was extra nice. The belt I'm wearing is a nice leather one free from *i24 (and also some fun jelly-style bracelets)

But dude, you say, you went looking for kilts!

So I did. And if you were quick last night you grabbed the Marauder shirt from the Rfyre hunt when Eliza gave a shout out for it so that you could pair it with the very cool tanned leather kilt I got from Subtle Submission.

If you missed it, it's a reminder to never ignore Eliza...the woman has a nose for the good stuff. If you did, well the kilt is pretty versatile...I'm sure we can find something for you to wear with it.

I've been playing way too much RL lately, but I should be able to be in-world long enough today to get a real post or two done.

Next you need to go to the back of the store, where you'll find 2 lucky chairs. The following outfit, named Fleur, is in one of them, and comes with a female version also. The amazing Alien avatar you see pictured has been stolen from the extremely talented Coke Supply. As you can imagine, she's quite upset with the situation, and has decided to offer it for 1L in her shop in order to deter the thieves from selling it.
The sculpty work done on this avie is just mind boggling to me, but then, I can't make a decent mushroom without it looking like a lumpy weenis : )

You may have seen all of this on other blogs being modeled by women, but I wanted to make sure that you were aware that this stuff can be worn by the men too.

Morrigan Denimore, the owner and designer at The Black Canary has a real talent for creating a victorian goth atmosphere. I'd heard he was a vampire, so that might explain it. His clothing is dark and sexy, and really makes you feel like it's appropriate to say things like "I never drink...wine".

Hair: These are some of the great prizes over at the Docomo Hair Hunt. If you haven't been there already, I recommend checking out this post by the awesome folks over at D-List. That'll help speed up the hunt, which is especially helpful if you suck at the things as bad as I do.

Costumes: If you take the taxi over to Hair Spray, Damien Fate has a slew of free outfits on the back wall. Some really great stuff, and while you're at the sim, I seriously recommend you go visit the other stores. Hair Spray even has handy notice boards all about the place, labeling which shops sell Male stuff, and even which ones offer freebies!

Skins: These are some you've probably already grabbed thanks to Eliza, but in case you've missed the memo, get yourself down to MMS skins already! They'll only be there until Nov. 1st!

Ear Gauges: I know you can't see them too well, but these are a good addition to any punk or, in this case, techno getup. Grab them over at Traveller's Wares, packaged up in a golden apple.

My advise to any new residents is to try to talk to anybody who's at the landing point to get some more info on joining. Don't wander around and try to talk to people who are already there because they might be in character and you really don't want to interrupt their play.

I Do Believe In Spooks! I Do! I Do! I Do!

Setting Up:
It will probably take you a few tries to get the synch lined up just right so be patient. First load the Dark Side of the Moon CD into your CD player and hit PLAY (>) and then immediately hit PAUSE (II) so it is cued up and ready to roll. Be sure also to set your CD player to continuous replay. This in most CD players is done by hitting the "REPEAT" button twice. Hitting it once will repeat only the presently playing track so hit the button two (2) times and it will replay the CD over and over. The CD will play roughly two and a quarter times through the entire length of the movie. Now start the video and get past all the preview junk (about five minutes worth on the THX voersion) at the beginning and watch for the BLACK & WHITE MGM lion to roar. After the BLACK &WHITE MGM Lion roars for the THIRD (3rd) time IMMEDIATELY hit the play button on the CD player.
Be sure to turn down the sound on the TV because the dialogue and original soundtrack are not necessary for this experiment. "The Dark Side of the Moon" will provide all the sound you need.

Role Playing For Next To Nothing III

Finally! A long overdue post. Sorry about the wait, but I really haven't been finding anything new that I felt was worth posting.

Illusory and I had been trying to put together a steampunk look for you, but we couldn't agree on the look, or even what a steampunk was LOL. Plus there was the problem of not really finding anything free or cheap to put the look together. [OMFG] put an end to all that with this terrific Wastelander Armour Set for 0L. You'll find it in a big box between 2 new lucky chairs. These chairs have great stuffs which change every 5 minutes. I got these Shurika Basica blades when my letter came up! They're not scripted, but they are copy/mod so you should be able to add scripts is you're so inclined.

As an added bonus, and a fantasterrific gift for the grand opening of their new sim, when you join the subscribo, you'll receive a 275L gift certificate! W00t!!! I bought these awesome horns with chains called the Crown of Pandora. I love, love, love these! I've been looking for some great horns to help me put together all of the weird fantasy looks I like to play with, and these will do just fine! *happy dance*
