Halloween Loco Poco style!

They have done it again! The dynamic duo of Damien Fate and Washu Zebrastripe, creators of Loco Pocos, have yet another amazing event set up for us to enjoy!

Loco Pocos Trick or Treat. The event is set up so you can play as either a Loco Poco or as a human.

When you arrive at Loco Poco Island, find your way here and click on the spooky pumpkin. For those of you that were lucky enough to do the Loco Poco Halloween hunt last year, you'll remember how much fun it was filling your pumpkin with loads of goodies.

When you arrive, grab yourself a pumpkin shaped candy bag. Then start banging on lots of doors to collect your goodies.

A little warning, some of the residents that live in this village aren't particularly fond of trick or treaters.

They keep their goodies and candy to themselves and will give you a good fright to try and scare you away. Be strong and all your door knocking will reap a wonderful reward!

Black gummy bears are a witches favourite treat, besides chocolate coated bat wings.

What's with the rusty key in my pumpkin? Hmmm...wonder what that's for?

As you can see, I have lost a little weight since my last post.

For a very limited time, Krist Tenk of Tenk Tank is offering this amazing skeleton avatar for free. It's a cool looking, well made skeleton. Ideal for this time of year and perfect for scaring the neighbours. Tenk Tank is a great little store filled with heaps of character avs like Sponge Bob, Pinocchio, Woody, Donald Duck, just to name a few. They range from around $200 - $400 linden which is a pretty good price.

I am rather embaressed. I have never been so naked. I have gone all shy now so stop looking at me and head over to Tenk Tank and pick up your own piece of inner beauty before it's gone!

SummerChoice!2009

SummerChoice!2009 is still up (will end on 31 August) with several unisex prizes.
All you have to do is buy a product containing the stamp card from the list of stores involved (some of them offer only limited products marked with the card logo, some others offer them in every product they sell) and mark them at the printing device located in all the 20 shops.

If you are managing to do the print rally all at once, probably you need many free slots where attach the cards in order to print them. I personally use the HUD slots, saving one for the AO but you can also wear them in every free slot of the avatar like many actually do.

Hopeful Wanderer

I've not been in SL much lately, so I decided to go for a wander today to see what I've been missing, and I found some great stuffs for you. Ok, some of it isn't new, but maybe it's new to you.

The hat with hair is a Bunny Hop gift from Izumyia. Don't forget to check out the freebie area upstairs while you're there. The glasses are from Solar Eyewear and come with a HUD to give you 435,927 options, and you'll find them along with this shirt from Mechanism at Fabulous Fashion TV Show.

The skin and eyes are from Imagen and can be found at the Free*Style Juicy location. When you get there, be sure to touch the sign on the left to get a notecard with all of the Free*Style locations so you can find the Body Builder AO. I'm not telling which location it's in, but you'll have fun going through all of the great stuff they have, I promise. Just be sure to look in all of their buildings and all around and behind the boxes and posters.


I saw the following avatar from Curious Inc. on Anna Zwier's blog and I just had to try to win it. By the way, you guys should check that blog out, because she'll tell you about male freebies when she runs across them.

This is Uchi Cat - Felis and I'm showing the female version here. It comes with both male and female though, so no worries. What you do need to worry about is the swirling vortex of doom that sucks you down into a big hole in the ground and ejects you from the sim. No, I'm not joking at all. You'll be hunting for a box that appears randomly all over the place, and you have to be close to it to touch it and win. Good luck!

Ok, now that I have your attention, let me tell you about my favorite place in SL. Yes, I know they're all my favorites, but this one is really special.

Grendel's Children is more than an avatar store. It's a whole SLife style. Besides the mind boggling variety of avies to choose from, there are 4 sims to explore and role play in. There's always something to do, and fun, interesting creatures to do it with.

Out of the more than 60 avatars and other things I have from here, I'm just going to show a few of the newer avies that are 0L to 2L.

Avatars are fully customizable, and come with AOs. Many have HUDs also.

Tiny Bunnies - 2L - Comes with a variety of fur colors

Freebies and cheapies can be found all over this massive store, and there are so many of them that you'll have a hard time deciding what to be or do.

There are two quests that you can participate in here also. These are 30L each, but more than worth it.

I had a completely different post planned for today, but I logged on to a tip from morena Mayo, (HAI MOREENAAA!) about these fun new dollarbie tee shirts at Uncle Wiggly's new Harold location.

There are 3 of them waiting for you at the door when you tp in. I didn't show the third one, but it has a drunken birdie guzzling from a bottle of booze. They're so cute, I had to have a shot of Jim Beam with them. Social drinking before 5pm...YAY!

I went to the Gnubie Store to pick up some jeans and the hair I'm wearing above for this post (all from Garbage Prototype), and I found the Easter Bunny!

I've been trying to put out some greenery at the clubhouse, and I happened upon a crap-ton of trees and landscaping items from Teizus Miles while at the Gnubie Store. I had to have the whole freakin' wall full. You have to see this to believe it. Really. Trust me.

This post is thanks to a tip I got today from a new FFFM group member. Unfortunately, I was at the clothing fair at the time and crashed, so I lost our conversation and I can't remember his name for the life of me. Thanks for the tip! Sorry I forgot your name. Booo, bad blogger.

Go to Fallen Gods, Inc. and at the front of the store you'll find a group joiner and a bunch of gifts. Check the notices too, there's a set of tattoos there.

Jester Outfit - Comes with skin, and there's a female version too

Next you need to go to the back of the store, where you'll find 2 lucky chairs. The following outfit, named Fleur, is in one of them, and comes with a female version also. I believe the other chair rotates items, but that they're all unisex. The skin that goes with Fleur is in the Lucky Fortune game, and I'm going to go spam the group until I find my perfect match.

You know, I always cringe when I see the word kyoot, but this time I think it's just perfect for these two avatars.
I love me some Lucky Kitties, and that's how I heard about how to get these. When I opened the box I was all "OMG Jason! We have to take a pic RIGHT NOW!!!"

Here's what you need to do. Join the group Curious, Inc. and look in the notices. There are some eyes in there too, but you want the other box. Now rez it BUT DON'T OPEN IT! Just touch it once and you will be sent the box with this kyoot male and female avatar.

If you're interested, IM me in-world and I'll show ya a pic of me and Jason belly dancing in these. I swear, I'm never taking this off.
