Sometimes things get messy

Every now and then you get in that mood; you might take it out on the dance floor or you might go looking for other kinds of energy release. SL has a little something for everyone, including those of us who like things to get a little messy from time to time. And if you are going to get messy, you might as well dress the part.

There's lots of places that let you push the edge, and no place does it better than [Little Britain Designs] where new sets are offered up every week, as freebies and in the Lucky Chairs, Midnight Mania boards and camping chairs. (All of which are back. LB has moved again, so make note of the slurl.)

This week's offering is Massacre (which may explain the mood, come to think of it.) If you are shy about showing your tush, you might want to wear a pair of boxers under this -- when LB rips something, it really gets ripped.

Not everything I have on is free, but the ticket price wasn't outrageous and it got pulled together from things I already had either from prior hunts or earlier purchases.

Top to Bottom though, the hair is Daniel - Mocha, a group dollarbie from [a.C Studios]. It comes in a fatpack of all colors and it's low prim, which if you inhabit any of the RP or Combat sims, can be a big plus. The rusty skulls necklace is a dollarbie from [KOSH], and the simple celtic belt is a lucky chair win from [Phoenix Design]

[RocX] has these leather kick boots for free to group members along with this Exo unisex hair (in three sizes). Join the group, get the gifts. No fighting at all.

Not Free: The glasses are [HOC]'s aviator glasses, $40-$50L, with changeable lenses and frames.

The wrist cuff is from [Dogma] and is not free but ran about $100L for a pair of them.

The bruises and blood are also from [RocX] -- around $180L, but a nice set if you want to look like you are ready to kick some ass. (Or get your ass kicked -- whichever works.)

Given that these clothes ended up a little worse for the wear, I hauled on something a little more durable -- and where better to find clothes that can stand up to what you throw at them, then hitting [KOSH] and see what presents Daizy Dumpling left out for us over the weekend.

What I got was this To-The-Bones purple tank and this very cool crossed plaid belt. The Manky jeans are also from Kosh and a nice looking buy for $77L.

Head scarf is from [Rockerwear] and their $25L sale. I picked up the [Solar Eyewear ~ Nash] shades from the freebie rack at [Fabulous Fashion TV], and I'm pretty sure they are still there.

Square cross is the previously blogged piece from Mamesando. The arm wrap is a Discovery hunt prize from [Neko Wonderland], and you're gonna recognize the denim leg wrap from [LikeA] - I find a lot of use for it.

Not free: Hair is from [booN], YKZ851 black and the leg belt is another purchase from [Dogma].

Now, I think I need a hot shower and some serious breakfast. Wouldn't want anyone to think I'd been in a fight or anything.

Real VIP's don't eat quiche (they made themselves)

Apologies for the gap - I got hitched this week in SL and was otherwise occupied ~grins~ but either providence or content creators or both made for an easy return. Still, this will be a fast one, but hopefully worth your time.

And as for worth your time: The VIP hunt is on -- it costs $200L to get the Key you need to pick up the gifts and I've only just started but when the first score is this very cool specialty skin from [ATOMIC] you kind of get the idea -- one or two awesome gifts makes the fee seem worthwhile. You get four skin grades from pale to tan and the skin gradients are really nice in the face.

If you don't want to or haven't got the hunt fee, fear not, there's other gifts for you, including this white tipped hair from the [MADesigns] VIP board (which is working again.) You need to be a kMADd Enterprise VIP AND you need to have MADesigns in your picks (give it a couple of days if you are just adding it). There's new stuff every month.

No room for another group and your picks are filled with your friends and outrageous quotes? Sheeesh, you guys are a hard crowd to please -- but here you go:

[Dutch Touch] has this nice plum hoodie cardigan in the Lucky Chair at the main store, and Wind Meads at [LikeA] has these damaged jeans up on the Lucky Board. The Belt I'm wearing is from the [Miamai] (formerly BlooD+) discovery hunt prize -- and if you didn't grab it, dudes, I got nothing to say to you at all.

===========
Other Stuff:

Shoes: [HOC] Bolts sneakers - $40L (color change)
Black Undertank: previous gift from [** el trebol**] which seems to have moved again or the region is down. I love the clothes there, but that place is like Brigadoon -- it keeps vanishing. Anyone finds it again, drop me a note please.

The Pluses of Being a Ping Pong Ball

Edited to add: I've been informed that the skin I found is likely ripped off from Abyss. I've removed the links and the pictures, and would urge you *not* to try and find it. Give the content creators their due -- and their lindens.

Like most people, I have my freebie spots to check periodically... but I also get a certain amount of amusement just randomly TP-ing about to see what's out there...sometimes you get really lucky and sometimes all you get is a t-shirt, but you'll inevitably see something interesting along the way.

So, this morning I took a little stroll through Hell's End (mostly because I like the kilts at emo*tions and you can never have enough kilts) and tripped over some shops and things I hadn't seen before. Hell's End is mostly Grunge/Neko/Metal with a healthy dose of Gor tossed in -- all mixed up in a Cuisinart and spilled across an urban apocalypse build.

Mystic Hope is at the edge of the sim, and I almost missed this very cool outfit called Sir Lavendel. It comes with a nice cloak and a pair of fun violet cat eyes. (Zoe Cross not included with this outfit. You can get it from Sable Rose)

I rounded off my morning with some familiar places, including KOSH for the weekly freebie -- This week is the "Brittle Set".

And since I was already on X I darted over to the sim called "Men" to see what was new and came across the HSCC bike Shop...no free choppers but this collared t-shirt was extra nice. The belt I'm wearing is a nice leather one free from *i24 (and also some fun jelly-style bracelets)

But dude, you say, you went looking for kilts!

So I did. And if you were quick last night you grabbed the Marauder shirt from the Rfyre hunt when Eliza gave a shout out for it so that you could pair it with the very cool tanned leather kilt I got from Subtle Submission.

If you missed it, it's a reminder to never ignore Eliza...the woman has a nose for the good stuff. If you did, well the kilt is pretty versatile...I'm sure we can find something for you to wear with it.

B-11 Mall Hunt

Please excuse the silly pose, it's the only one I could get to work today. I'm having SLissues, or computer issues. Maybe both grrrr.

So anyway, here's a really quick post on a really easy hunt. Go to B-11 Mall, and as soon as you land, look over to your right at the big blue and white drink vendor. On top of it you'll see a skull and....mmmm....I forgot, but you'll know it when you see it since it obviously doesn't belong there.

You'll receive LOTS of stuff. Some for men, some for women, and a bunch of unisex items also. Oh! And a really nice couch too : )

Happy hunting!

CG Hunt Part 2

I'm going to let you in on a little secret...I don't have a whole bunch of patience when it comes to doing these hunts. Big surprise? Probably not, I'm not that patient about many many things haha! So I'm not finished with the hunt yet. I only have a couple more stores to go though, and they're good ones, so I'll probably finish later tonight.

Here's some stuff...

This is the Piece of Eight Medallion from Eolande's. Very nice. I'll wear this a lot probably. She's a master manipulator of little prims IMO, and all the women I know love her hair combs and flowers.

This is the Crossed Shirt and Ekstras Blu Jeans from Ekstras which I'd never known if they hadn't named the jeans that. They didn't put a LM or notecard in the box. Nevertheless, I really like this shirt and the jeans are well made also.

The Mystical necklace is from Spoiled Rotten as well as the D-Ring belt below. The designer here is also a master manipulator of little prims. His shop is small, but I'd wear anything in there. Good stuff.

The two shirts above are from Nekorifik, and the boots you can't really see cause I suck are from Head2Toe. I'll try to take a better pic of the boots later. They're called Cowboy boots, but the style really isn't very cowboyish. They do however have spurs, which any self respecting cowboy will tell you brings all the ladies running haaahaha!

I'm still wearing the Tattooed Warrior skin from Unique Needs because I'm kinda liking that look on me. I forgot my awesome 'stache though. Now, THAT would really complete the psycho biker vibe I've got going LOL.

Hi! I'm Eliza, and this is my alt Lucien

Hey y'all! Ill's applying to be an SL mentor so he's not gonna have time to update a lot. I've been helping him find free stuff and I'm also the one who took those pictures when he couldn't get into SL. Yes, I am a chickensh*t diva, but I decided to suck it up to help one of my oldest friends in RL. I really didn't know where to start, and this is harder that it looks! I hope you'll bear with me while I get the hang of this.

So, because that mustache Ill's been insisting on wearing everywhere reminded me of the biker outfit from the Asri Falcone Mall hunt we went to a while back, I decided to check and see if it was still going on...and it is! It must be the longest hunt in SL history, but it's for Relay For Life and I guess it'll be going on as long as the RFL team is collecting money.

Here's just a few of the items to be found for men. They're in the little white teddy bears.

The hunt is very easy, and doesn't really take much time. I'm not sure how much longer the RFL team will be collecting, so you might want to hurry over and grab this great stuff while you can.

Ars Nova is a new skin store in SL, and they've reissued their free sample skins to the update group. Do a search in the "All" tab for Ars Nova and join. You'll find the skins in the notice archive with the subject "Wink wink". Click "open attachment", and you'll find your gift in your objects folder.

With the skin I'm wearing Cabbage Eyes from [MJ+DaDa] which is in the OZ:Hiding Place Mall.

Cabbage-eyes Black Onyx

Cabbage-eyes Tiger Eye

This belt is the latest group gift from Valiant Fashions For Men. There is also a big bag of clothes that the designer didn't think were quite good enough to sell on the counter at the entrance to the store.
Well, that's my first post! I hope it was helpful, but if I forgot anything please feel free to leave a comment.

New Group Gift and In-Store Freebie At Mechanism

It's been a looong Monday here in Magic-World, and I gratefully logged in to chill out and BOOM I got hit with a new group gift from Mechanism!

The tank is unisex, and a little transparent, so if you're shy this ain't for you. The note card also included a notice about a new freebie to be had in the store as well as some new designs that were released today.

Say hello to my ass...I mean my new "Hunter Belt" which can be found in a box to the left of the entrance for a limited time. The much blogged Snow Boots freebie will be extended due to their popularity for one more week only, so if you don't already own these, what are you waiting for?

Hair from Kiss 5L for 3 sizes in 6 colors

Skin from Belleza group gift
