SummerChoice!2009

SummerChoice!2009 is still up (will end on 31 August) with several unisex prizes.
All you have to do is buy a product containing the stamp card from the list of stores involved (some of them offer only limited products marked with the card logo, some others offer them in every product they sell) and mark them at the printing device located in all the 20 shops.

If you are managing to do the print rally all at once, probably you need many free slots where attach the cards in order to print them. I personally use the HUD slots, saving one for the AO but you can also wear them in every free slot of the avatar like many actually do.

Silent Sparrow @ The Gnubie Store

Testing out this blog malarky, I thought I would start off safe with a simple piece illustrating an item I grabbed at The Gnubie Store. One of the freebie gems on the grid The Gnubie Store is a treasure trove of designer give-aways.

Albion snapped up this gothic item from one of SL's best gothic stores Silent Sparrow, who donate several cool items to the store. Grab as many as you can, join the group and head to the Silent Sparrow store to buy some reallty cool, really original styles and designs.

What impresses me with the Silent Sparrow range of free items is the high quality of the designs, the freebies are often sale item just dropped into the freebie store. They are not cheaper version thrown in to publicize the main designs or logo T-Shirts to advertise the store. Both generous and stylish, these gothic Victorian inspired designs stand up against anything you'll have in your inventory. I like them a lot, so should you; be adventurous take off the ripped jeans you bought for 5L; discard the T-Shirt declaring your loyalty for the Bare Boobies Bar; be daring, be gothic, be cool be free. Albion is wearing FREE shades from CheerNo [group gift], and the hair was FREE from Gurl6, I'm unsure as to whether its still available; the shoes are from Redgrave [NOT FREE].

This skin and outfit reminded me so much of some Sean Paul music videos that I couldn't help to wear them along with the Discord Designs DeShaun hairstyle, dollarbie from the Hair Fair ended few weeks ago, and a tribal tattoo.
The outfit and the skin are the monthly gift from STYLES, a place I suggest to visit if you haven't done it yet. A jacket with prim cuffs and collar, pants and belt. Find the board at the entrance and pick it up (one for girls as well).
There is also a shape in the pack but I am not wearing it here.
The guns are a prototype of Hybrid, a nice designer for RPers. There is a free demo version on xstreet if you want to try them.

JFTG Part Five

This is the last of the posting. Not every single thing is here. Vmotional offered up some great sitting animations (and I mean that - Vmotional (formerly Sinamatic) is among my favorite animation creators), BF Poseworx put out a Beach pose/photo set, just in time for summer & MADesigns had eyes in the pack with the hair they offered, and there are some other shirts or additions that came in packs that I didn't grab pictures of...but it's a pretty good view of what's on offer - high quality, varied style, interesting choices.
