It's that time of year; sea and sky, crisp, light fabrics and [Dany's French Touch] has just what you need in this month's Group Gift: a white linen shirt and well-faded dragon patterned jeans that will keep you cool, looking good, and not cost you much vacation money. It does cost $1L to join the group - gifts are in the notices. The shop itself has other great clothes for $1L and even the regular priced items aren't insanely expensive. The Kanji Tattoo is from [Huz] from the JFTG hunt. (Blogged here).
[Robbish] is also offering a new gift this month -- this Grey People tee that's fun and light, and there's another free t-shirt just inside the shop.
As with Dany's French Touch, the regular items at Robbish are reasonably priced; usually between $99-120L or therabouts -- and why you ask, do I tell you this? Because as much as we love free stuff (and we do!) , it's also kind of up to us to keep these very generous designers an content creators in business. (End PSA)
Worn with the t-shirt is the men's Mars necklace -- a gift from [Purangi Designs] through DSN -- simple and masculine; a modifiable leather thong and the stylized symbol for Mars (both as planet and as God of War. (sorry the picture isn't bigger). And last, but never least, is this Wolfman ensemble from [Fa'Shels Wicked Design]. July's group gift is this black tee and white etched pants, good for clubbing or just hanging out on the dock with a cooler of beer and a fishing pole. Don't forget the sunscreen! Joining the group is free and you can find the month's offerings right outside the door -- free outfit for the ladies too.
And just a reminder and a bit of a request: As much fun as blogging about free stuff is, all of the bloggers here have limited time and some are going to have even less in a month or so with school starting and other demands. We'd love to have more of you posting, but if you don't feel like that's a thing you want to do, help us out. When you find great free stuff, take a picture of yourself wearing it or using it (doesn't have to be only clothing) or a picture of the item itself. drop us a note with a link to the pic if you've uploaded it to the [FFFM flickr group] or elsewhere and give us your name, the designer, item name, and the slurl in a notecard.
This will work best with stuff that's got some shelf life to it as opposed to a MM board which may change every day (the aim here on the blog is to be able to point readers to where they too, can get this cool stuff. The inworld group is better suited for stuff that's in the moment.) But if you do want to blog, even only once a month or so, then drop Eliza or me a line or contact us inworld.
