(Click all pictures for larger images)There are again, a dozen hunts if not more, going on at the moment. Some are big, like Peace on Earth with 276 participants, the Candy Cane Hunt with 139 stores, the StampOutAids -HIV awareness Hunt with 182 stores. These kinds of seasonal hunts are meant to promote good will, raise awareness, and hopefully generate some recognition for the designers who are giving so generously. But unless that's all you do pretty much every day, getting through all of them would be a feat worth of the Guiness Book of World Records. Like most people I have a day job and life that comes before SL...but that doesn't mean I don't want to get in on the good stuff, to discover new designers, maybe get a chance to talk to a few of them if I'm lucky.
Most hunts have blogs -- and any longer that's where I start. Not to pick and choose necessarily, but because I'm familiar enough with most stores to see if there's likely to be ones I recognize that carry menswear. And since most shops (not all) participate in more than one hunt at a time, chances are I'm going to spend less time discarding the amazing Christmas wear aimed mostly at women. (But I am seriously looking forward to seeing the ladies in their new finery.)
StampOutAids is a hunt I personally want to support and so I checked it and lo and behold, who should be on the list but Pasarella, who is in more hunts than is sane (good thing I love crazy!) For the StampOutAids hunt she's offering (picture upper left) this cable knit red turtleneck sweater, jeans and separate belt, and the Nero Goth Red hair is her gift for the Jingle Bell Hunt. (I like this hair a lot and plan to go back and get it in black if it's available.)
But currently under the Christmas Tree at Pasarella Main store is an entire wardrobe of casual clothes and hair. If you missed the prize during the Addiction, Vampire, or MHOH2 hunt, you can still get those out of the gift bags under there tree.

Left: The Count Outfit from the Vampire Hunt. [Comes with coffin =)] Right: Jane's Addiction shirt and Jeans - Addiction Hunt; there's a leather jacket in this set as well.
Left: Santa's Little Helper hunt: Buttoned Turtleneck, black jeans and separate belt. Center: On The Christmas Tree Hunt: Teal long sleeve & beige cords. Right: Christmas Hunt red henley and jeans. Hair: GLEY Hunt Jason in Brown.

Candy Cane Hunt: Candy Cane Comfy Jammy Tee and Boxer with Sweet.
Lauren beach bed is SFH prize #134 from JJ Lane
And a reminder: As generous as a lot of designers are, unless they are independently wealthy, they can't make it in SL on good will alone. Like most of us, they have tier or rent to pay and often on multiple shop sites. So if you like what you find for free, consider parting with a few lindens now and again to help them keep in business.

I love Pasarella, they always include a male item in their hunt items. When I mentor a new male into SL I always bring them there.
I do a couple of the hunts and generally keep a list of the ones that also offer mens items so if I come across any I think you'll dig I'll send them your way.
Happy holidays, keep up the great work!
Thank you Cherry. I think she does fantastic work. And having an idea of what hunt offers good stuff for guys would be much appreciated!
